Thanks to everyone that stopped by and waited in that overnight line for another year of free skating and bangin' deals for Black Friday. I've got a few minutes as seen through my cell phone here. The sale runs all weekend with all Vans at 25% off and the entire store at 15% off, including shoes that were already on sale. Check the closeouts page for super deals.

There were people here as early as 8pm the night before. Wait, that means they were waiting in line while we were still open the day before? Damn. Yep, and by the morning of Black Friday at 7am, the line wrapped around the building and went all the way back to the fence, or should I say, black to the fence. Check out some footage and interviews with our friends, fans, and customers here. I hope you all had a good day skating and got the gear you needed while shopping. Lock-Out

You know those places like roller skating rinks that have all night lock-ins? We pretty much had the opposite of that. Yep, it was a lock-out. We opened the doors at 7am this morning, but there were people here as early as 8pm the night before. Thanks to everyone who waited overnight and hung out to skate and shop today with us on a nice Black Friday morning after turkey blasting ourselves: Early Morning on Black Friday 2011 Presented by Vans.

Our Black Friday Weekend Sale Presented by Vans begins at midnight EST Thursday night online and 7am at the Skatepark of Tampa Shop on Friday. All Vans shoes and apparel are 25% off. The entire store is 15% off, even things that are already on sale. This goes on through Sunday at midnight. In the Shop only, we've got a limited amount of $50 complete skateboards, $25 decks, shoes under $30, $10 sweatshirts and button-ups, $5 t-shirts, and $5 hats. The doors open at 7am Friday with free food and free skating.

SPoT Skate Shop Ybor Black Saturday

It's an amazing accomplishment for a nerd when you get something you did posted on Gizmodo. Our Black Friday video from last year was #4 on Gizmodo's Absurd Black Friday videos list. This morning at SPoT Skate Shop Ybor for Black Saturday was much more mellow, but had the same deals. Thanks for joining us for coffee, breakfast, and skateboard shopping early this morning.
